This privacy policy explains how the Architecting Influence website ("we", "us", or "the site") collects, uses, and protects your personal information. We respect your privacy and are committed to handling your data responsibly.

What we collect

We collect only one piece of personal information:

  • Email address — provided voluntarily when you use the signup form to request notifications about the book launch and online course.

We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment information, or any other personal data through this website.

Why we collect it

Your email address is used solely to:

  • Notify you when Architecting Influence is available for purchase
  • Notify you when the online course opens for enrolment
  • Occasionally share early content or updates related to the Influence Architecture

We will not use your email for unrelated marketing, and we will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their marketing purposes.

How we store and process it

Your email address is kept by SiteMagpie, the service that hosts this website, and passed to Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), a GDPR-compliant email marketing platform headquartered in France, which sends the emails. Both act as data processors on our behalf.

The website itself is hosted by SiteMagpie on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may collect standard web server logs (IP addresses, browser type, pages visited) as part of their hosting service. We do not use these logs for tracking or marketing purposes.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics scripts, or third-party tracking tools. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar services.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email we send
  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your data from our mailing list
  • Withdraw consent at any time — your signup is entirely voluntary

These rights apply regardless of where you are located. We honour requests under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and equivalent legislation in other jurisdictions.

Data retention

We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to our mailing list. If you unsubscribe or request deletion, your email address will be removed from our active list. Brevo may retain suppression records (to prevent re-sending to unsubscribed addresses) in accordance with their own privacy policy.
